Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on and set up Employee Share Scheme (ESS) arrangements, including annual submissions.
  • Plan and advise on inheritance tax (IHT) and trust setups, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Seek HMRC clearance on various tax matters, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Conduct tax research and remain informed about changes in tax legislation, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Tax Consultant or in a similar role, with a strong background in tax law, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
  • Understanding of personal tax, corporate tax, and trusts, with a focus on minimizing clients' liabilities.
  • Qualified or part-qualified in ATT / CTA / ACCA / ACA / AAT, with a strong understanding of tax preparation software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
