The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Mortgages to play a pivotal role in leading and managing our mortgage team. This senior leadership position demands a strong leader with extensive experience in mortgage advice, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and exceptional team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end mortgage operations, including business development, processing, and ongoing servicing.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the mortgage team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Set performance goals for the mortgage team, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to help team members achieve their full potential.
- Relevant qualification to be able to give mortgage advice in the UK (e.g. CeMAP / Certificate in Mortgage Advice).
- Extensive experience in mortgage broking and operations, with a proven track record of leadership and management success.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
