Aeropeople Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing Supervisor to lead a small team of NDT Inspectors in providing an efficient and effective service to the department's internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in an aircraft maintenance or similar environment, with knowledge and experience of Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and UT Phased Array. Multiple Non-Destructive Testing approvals are required, as well as familiarity of Boeing 737, BAe 146, and Embraer aircraft NDT techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for leadership and performance management of NDT Inspectors and trainees, pre-planning, researching, paperwork processing, spares/tool ordering, completing and certification of NDT related tasks, monitoring quality, cost, and overall performance of NDT tasks, ensuring all NDT related tasks are carried out safely and to the required Health & Safety standards, and ensuring NDT staff maintain a current approval by monitoring expiry dates of qualifications, recency records, eye tests, and recurrent training. The role offers a competitive salary, 5 hour week, Monday-Friday, with overtime available at weekends and paid at 1.20. The company provides relocation assistance, a stakeholder pension, company sick pay, life assurance, retailer discounts, long service awards, wellbeing support, subsidised on-site canteen, free parking, and a cycle to work scheme.
