Job Overview:
We are looking for a proficient and knowledgeable Setting Out Engineer to become a vital part of our civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the precise setting out for various civil engineering initiatives, encompassing roadworks, drainage systems, foundational structures, and utility installations.

This position demands exceptional attention to detail, robust technical expertise, and the capability to operate effectively in a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing precise setting out and surveying for diverse civil engineering projects.
  • Interpreting and executing tasks based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and team members to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Maintaining detailed records of work conducted and materials utilized.
  • Assisting in the management and oversight of subcontractors on-site.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a setting out capacity within civil engineering.

  • Strong comprehension of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving license.
