Service Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer / Electromechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a leading electromechanical engineering supplier near Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide service, maintenance, and repair of electric motors, gearboxes, generators, and similar at customer sites in and around Aberdeen as well as offshore when required.
  • Carry out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products such as pumps, valves, generators, electric motors, and more, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
  • Work offshore when required and carry out service and maintenance at customer sites in and around Aberdeen.
  • Ability to complete technical documentation as work is progressed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a service engineer, field service engineer, service technician, installation engineer, rotating equipment engineer, offshore engineer, generator engineer or similar.
  • Electromechanical engineering background, servicing and maintaining rotating equipment such as gearboxes, electrical motors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.
  • Ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical machinery.
  • Engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to commute to Aberdeen and work offshore if required.

Package: £40k-£45k, Overtime, Annual bonus, Pension, Additional benefits.
