About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the debtor list, ensuring outstanding client balances are organised and scheduled for collection.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, confidence in dealing with clients, accuracy in reporting, and be process-driven. They will also provide clerical and administrative support to managers, either as part of a team or individually depending on the task.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Chasing debt and ensuring timely payments
  2. Reconciling debtor accounts and processing sales invoices
  3. Preparing monthly statements and client rebates
  4. Effectively dealing with accounts queries and resolving issues
  5. Processing cash receipts and client credit checks
  6. Creating invoices and maintaining accurate records
  7. Filing and maintaining a well-organised system
  8. Communicating with customers and providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery
  2. Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and targets
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
