About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at Permanent Futures, a leading global food manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement environmental strategies, compliance processes, and procedures that drive positive change and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement site environmental strategies, compliance processes, and procedures to drive environmental performance improvement.
  2. Lead key projects, including new plant installations, carbon reduction initiatives, and waste management programs.
  3. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaboration to drive key outputs and support certification to ISO 14001.
  4. Work with the Site SHE Manager to develop a positive environmental culture through education, training, and coaching.
  5. Provide insights and recommendations to drive environmental performance improvement through data analysis and target setting.
  6. Deliver environmental reporting information and provide recommendations to inform management decisions.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience as a Sustainability Coordinator in an FMCG/manufacturing environment.
  2. Experience working with partnerships and collaborations.
  3. Experience in giving presentations, facilitating workshops, and report writing.
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
