Job Title: Buildings Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor

PMR is seeking an experienced Buildings Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor to join our team at a Luxury Development in Westminster.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Buildings Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and electrical systems of our building. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, IT competence, and basic engineering knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the electrical system, including PAT testing and compliance with building regulations.
  • Monitor and operate the BMS system.
  • Perform basic engineering tasks, including working with boilers, pumps, generators, air conditioning systems, and heating and water systems.
  • Conduct regular checks of building systems and ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Perform occasional carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks.
  • Provide reactive and proactive maintenance to a Grade 1 Listed Heritage Property.
  • Basic plumbing tasks.
  • Liaise with and oversee outside specialist contractors.
  • Be willing to cover the roles of other staff members and mentor and supervise other maintenance staff.

Person Specification:

  • Ability to carry out work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
  • High level of stamina and ability to move heavy items.
  • Manage and prioritize a wide range of tasks and duties.
  • Welcoming and helpful approach when dealing with visitors.
  • Experience in facility management in a similar environment is an advantage.
