About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Health, Inclusion and Awareness Manager to join our team. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our work to empower patients and the public to manage their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier, and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

You will be responsible for managing and expanding the development and implementation of behaviour change programmes across the UK, including growing our public health talk programme for external organisations and specific partners. You will work closely with the Associate Director, Public Health, Inclusion and Awareness to deliver public health activities as identified in our strategy and team plans, and work across the wider directorate and organisation.

About You

You will have strong experience in people and volunteer management, and be a confident communicator with experience in developing and delivering training programmes or public health activities in a community setting to diverse audiences.

You will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships at a local level with external organisations and groups, including those from under-represented communities. You will be highly organised, able to adapt to changing circumstances, and demonstrate initiative, undertaking projects independently and seeing them through to completion, including both management and evaluation of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand the development and implementation of behaviour change programmes across the UK
  • Grow our public health talk programme for external organisations and specific partners
  • Work closely with the Associate Director, Public Health, Inclusion and Awareness to deliver public health activities as identified in our strategy and team plans
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships at a local level with external organisations and groups
  • Undertake projects independently and see them through to completion, including both management and evaluation of projects
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a hybrid working model that allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home. We are committed to promoting equity, valuing diversity, and creating an inclusive environment for everyone who works for us, works with us, supports us, and who we support.
