Procurement Role Overview
AVD Appoint is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team in Fulham. As a key member of the Procurement department, you will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers and purchasing components for the assembly and production team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the procurement, assembly, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of components and materials
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery terms
* Source and purchase a variety of components and materials to meet the needs of the assembly and production team
* Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
Requirements:
* 1 year of experience in buying or procurement
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
