Lead Product Development Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Product Development Scientist to join our team at our Larne site. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute research and development projects, including quality, safety, and financial aspects, from feasibility to commercial manufacture.
- Develop novel formulations for various drug product dosage forms and drug/device combination products, including interpretation of experimental data.
- Coordinate physical testing to evaluate product characteristics and participate in laboratory, process development, process scale-up, and validation studies.
- Travel as required to meet the needs of the role.
- Educated to PhD level in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a closely related subject.
- Experience in statistical experimental design and statistical interpretation of data.
- Sound knowledge of chemistry and excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High levels of motivation with the ability to work largely unsupervised and a flexible approach to changing priorities.
