About the Role

As a key member of our maintenance team at Network Rail, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain, inspect, and repair the land alongside the track network, including vegetation management, drainage, and ancillary structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain trackside infrastructure, including vegetation management and drainage systems
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out trackside equipment and structures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of trackside maintenance and repair techniques
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Valid driving license (category B) and ability to drive Network Rail vehicles
