About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Systems Engineering to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading the development of system definitions, technical requirements, and system architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of system definitions, technical requirements, and system architectures
  • Manage technical requirements using appropriate techniques and tools
  • Verify and validate project compliance with stakeholders
  • Develop and own System Engineering and Assurance plans and processes
  • Lead systems engineering and assurance management throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Collaborate with clients to develop scope of works and work packages
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations
  • Member of a professional engineering institution
  • Railway Systems experience
  • Knowledge of CENELEC Standards (EN50126/8/9)
