**Job Summary**

Omega is partnering with a leading aviation company to recruit a SAP FICO Solution Architect on a permanent basis.

This role is responsible for applying technical changes to the SAP system which impact business requirements to ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide technical SAP support and guidance to the finance team on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Be the focal point for all aspects of financial audit and compliance from an SAP perspective.
  • Work on opportunities to eliminate waste, simplify processes, and implement fixes within SAP FICO.
  • Provide data extracts and artifacts from SAP to auditors as needed.
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with substantial technical experience in the SAP Finance Module.
  • Experience in implementing technical requirements in SAP through working with ABAP teams for customization efforts.
  • Experience with user access, roles, and responsibilities management in SAP FI.
  • Prior experience of working with auditors on SAP financial controls, best practices, and implementation of such controls.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of best practice governance, risk management, and compliance in a large enterprise.
  • Experience with IT governance, IT risk, IT audit, IT operations, or related fields.
