We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with expertise in advanced imaging to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality women's health services, focusing on obstetric scanning and fetal medicine.
- Contribute to the non-resident on-call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Develop and enhance obstetric scanning services on site, driving excellence in patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with neighboring specialized services to advance perinatal care and network opportunities.
Main Duties and Expectations
- Participate in the non-resident third on-call rota, providing timely and effective support to patients.
- Undertake general obstetrics and gynaecology work, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and lead high-risk obstetric and perinatal services on site, driving innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with other fetal medicine colleagues and tertiary centers to advance patient care and research.
