Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Waltham Forest. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Support the development of pupils' educational and behavioral skills
  • Prepare classroom resources

This is a full-time position starting in September 2024, and we welcome graduates from all subjects to apply. If you have experience working with young people, it's a plus, but we are open to considering applications from those who are new to the field. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work across a range of age groups from Year 7 to Year 11, so it's essential that you feel confident supporting students up to the age of 16.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role
  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
