Job Title: Finance Business Partner Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner Assistant to join our team at Forces Families Jobs. The successful candidate will provide financial support and advice to students and staff, as well as liaise with external bodies such as NHS Wales, Health Education and Improvement Wales, and Student Awards Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with finance colleagues to arrange bursary payments to students, issue invoices to funding bodies and students for tuition fees, and maintain an accurate rolling forecast on student enrolments.
  • Develop processes for collecting, recording, and reporting accurate information on current students and graduating students to external bodies.
  • Provide financial support and advice to students and staff, and liaise with external bodies as required.
  • Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support the University's priorities.

Requirements:

  • AAT level 3 qualified or part-qualified CIMA/CCAB accountant.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to build productive relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams to achieve shared goals.
