Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our homecare team based in Exeter. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our service users receive the care and support they expect and deserve.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments with new service users to determine their care needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Undertake risk and manual handling assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Review and update care plans annually or as needed to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Provide direct supervision to care workers, including one-to-one meetings and written records of discussions.
  • Maintain an effective quality assurance system in consultation with the Branch Manager and Quality Assurance Advisor.
  • Conduct quality monitoring telephone calls to service users to evaluate the performance of care workers.
  • Liaise with Social Services as required and attend client reviews to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in an on-call roster to provide cover for unplanned absences and maintain service continuity.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong assessment and written skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A friendly, confident, and helpful telephone manner.
  • A positive, focused attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding targets.
