About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data and Analytics Officer to join our team at the World Bank Group. As a key member of our Strategy and Operations team, you will be responsible for driving the development, standardization, and preparedness of policy, procedures, and guidance associated with project management, data management, analytics, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee complex projects related to data management, analytics, and process optimization.
  • Stimulate collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring project success, and aligning data operations with key operational priorities and deliverables.
  • Lead in the implementation of data information and management systems.
  • Collaborate with HSD management to assess data needs, develop and maintain databases, and ensure the secure and efficient management of health information for operational purposes as well as research and impact reporting.
  • Oversee the integration of advanced data analytics technologies, data visualization, and actively contribute to research projects and dissemination efforts.
Requirements
  • A master's degree or higher in data management, computer science, information technology, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project and data management in a health setting and in a large organization.
  • At least 10 years of experience working for a medium/large organization (governmental, non-governmental, non-profit).
  • Additional certificates or education in Program Management, Strategic Management.
  • International experience and additional languages.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior leadership and supervision of others.
