Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Gateshead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at our Gateshead depot. As a multidrop driver, you will be responsible for supporting our pallet network division on local deliveries and collections in the NE area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
* Arrive at jobs on time and inform the traffic office of any issues
* Follow all company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code
* Maintain health and safety standards
* Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
* Comply with EU tachograph and WTD regulations
* Keep the vehicle clean and tidy

Requirements:

* Hold a full LGV C (Class 2) licence for a minimum of two years
* Possess a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
* Own a valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Good communication skills and geographical knowledge
