NTER TALENT is a prominent supplier of fresh produce to the food service sector in the UK.
Role Summary:
The Quality Assurance Inspector will evaluate food items against established internal standards, oversee and audit the Quality Management System (QMS), and assist the team in identifying effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the quality, safety, and compliance of products with specifications.
- Document and categorize evaluations using portable devices.
- Facilitate clear communication with team members.
- Conduct audits of QMS documentation and Goods-In records within production facilities.
- Ensure traceability of fish and sausage products.
- Aid in preparations for BRC and secondary audits.
- Perform histamine testing.
- Provide support to other technical and quality-related functions as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in assessing the quality of fresh produce.
- Familiarity with BRC and internal auditing processes.
- Understanding of food quality characteristics and control measures.
- Knowledge of food regulations, HACCP principles, and labeling requirements.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Adaptable and professional in high-pressure situations.
