Role Overview

As an Educational Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, creating an environment where they can thrive. You will provide companionship and support to enhance their learning experience while addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs. Your role will also involve preparing educational materials under the guidance of teachers and actively participating in various learning activities. Communication with parents and staff regarding student wellbeing will be essential.

This position requires working with students who exhibit complex behaviors linked to their learning challenges. You will receive training to effectively manage and de-escalate challenging situations, implementing proactive strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
