Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our planned maintenance team at Wates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and handover of schemes, managing operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and maintaining quality control and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input into and programming of works, including short-term programming.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality control and health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Attend pre- and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements.
  • Carry out weekly site progress reports and submit to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure that once works are completed, full and completed job packs are sent to the Project Manager, along with completion details, to guarantee a swift invoicing procedure.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planned maintenance and a successful track record of completing internal and external planned maintenance works.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with a positive and engaging approach to providing site leadership.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks and set deadlines.
