About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Chestnut Manor Care Home, a leading provider of healthcare services in East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our residents with their daily activities, including assisting with personal care, developing individual care plans, and helping with meal choices.
  • Be a trusted friend and advocate for our residents, championing their dignity and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to ensure our residents receive high-quality care and support.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, and maintain accurate records of care and support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and kindness.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, empathy, and respect for others. You will have:

A caring nature and a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Previous experience of working with the elderly is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
