About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Out of School Club Playworker.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in childcare and develop their skills in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of our Out of School Club, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Build trusting relationships with children and provide positive feedback to parents and carers.
- Contribute to the development of a high-quality provision that meets the needs of children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and follow policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding.
Working Hours and Holidays
The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, to cover the opening times of the holiday club.
During holiday periods, you will be required to work at least 2 days a week, with the possibility of additional hours to support the department.
Annual Leave
You will be entitled to 7 weeks annual leave per year, including 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter, 3 weeks during the Summer, and 1 week during the October break.
