Job Opportunity: English Tutor

TP Tutors is seeking a dedicated and experienced English tutor to work with Local Authorities and Schools in the Hartlepool area. As an English tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children who are not currently accessing education or who need extra support within a mainstream setting.

The Role:
  • Plan and deliver English-focused sessions that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Provide constructive feedback and use it to plan next steps to enhance children's learning.
  • Understand the child's unique needs and apply different behavioral strategies to engage them in the session.
Tutor Requirements:
  • Professional teaching qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND/SEMH needs is highly valued.
  • Two professional references that cover a 24-month period of employment from a 10-year career history are required.
  • An enhanced child workforce-only DBS or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors is necessary.
