About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Lead to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As a Strategic Lead, you will play a key role in developing and implementing the FCA's corporate strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the FCA's corporate strategy, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement, identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the FCA's overall strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leaders, ensuring they are equipped to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, and other external organizations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and development, with a strong track record of delivering business growth and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the FCA's regulatory environment and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
