Senior Java Developer for Investment Management

Quant Capital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a large distributed system for automating real-time data into a portfolio management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a scalable and robust Java-based system for data automation
  • Collaborate with the risk engineering team to develop a data platform from scratch
  • Work with a large distributed system built in Java, automating a large volume of real-time data
  • Develop strong database skills and expertise in Java 8+

Requirements:

  • 2:1 Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or Chemistry degree from a Red Brick UK or EU University
  • 10+ years of commercial development experience
  • Strong and demonstrable low-level Java experience
  • Strong database skills and expertise in Java 8+
