A leading financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled Trusts, Estates and Probate Manager to join their team as a key addition. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of probate services to clients, including inheritance tax advice, estate accounts, and wider tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The Trusts, Estates and Probate Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and delivering probate services to clients, including inheritance tax advice and estate accounts
  • Providing quality service with empathy to clients
  • Preparing IHT accounts, advising and calculating IHT, preparing estate accounts, and managing billings and reporting functions
  • Working closely with partners as key support on this service line, with scope to develop this service line for the firm

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Trusts, Estates and Probate Manager will need:

  • Experience of delivering probate services within a professional services environment
  • A career background developed ideally within accountancy practice as part of a wider personal tax career background, or other legal firm services background
  • A tax qualification across ATT or CTA and/or, be STEP qualified
  • A strong desire to develop and lead this service line and function within a growing and highly successful firm of chartered accountants
