We are seeking a highly skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Tarmac Hendre Quarry in Mold, Flintshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the quarry, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quarry, including the operation of fixed and mobile plants.
- Manage administrative and compliance duties, including the use of computer systems such as Fortek and SAP.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks and general maintenance, working closely with the fitting team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quarry performance and efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous experience working in a quarry environment or similar.
- Should have loading shovel and processing plant operational experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
- Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- IT literate, with the ability to use required computer systems.
- Flexible in their working approach.
