Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quarry, including the operation of fixed and mobile plants.
  • Manage administrative and compliance duties, including the use of computer systems such as Fortek and SAP.
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks and general maintenance, working closely with the fitting team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quarry performance and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have previous experience working in a quarry environment or similar.
  • Should have loading shovel and processing plant operational experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
  • Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IT literate, with the ability to use required computer systems.
  • Flexible in their working approach.
