Contechs is currently seeking a Lead Engineer for System Integration to support a prestigious Automotive OEM based in Gaydon.
Job Overview
As the Lead Engineer for System Integration, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the integration of all customer features and functionalities into our automotive products through the Central Systems Integration Team.
- Ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration to manage all stages of feature, systems, and software delivery, including the development of design requirements, requirements exchange, network design finalization, and test case execution.
- Being accountable for the maturation and delivery of customer features into both current and future vehicle programs, ensuring alignment with program gateways.
- Communicating and coordinating all cross-functional delivery steps to ensure timely integration of features into vehicles and testing assets.
- Utilizing Agile methodologies to ensure that all aspects of feature and system implementation are executed efficiently, identifying potential risks, eliminating obstacles, and resolving any cross-functional discrepancies to facilitate the success of the overall plan.
Required Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle, including system definition, architecture development, requirements specification, design reviews, integration, assessment, and acceptance.
- Strong technical project management capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering complex mechatronic systems at a whole vehicle integration level.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratively influence and guide delivery teams across various engineering functions.
