At Babcock Careers, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing and agreeing scope/budgets for projects and/or programmes, controlling forecast and actual costs against them, and providing risk & opportunity analysis on these budgets and change management.
The Role
You'll be responsible for applying requirements management, budgeting & cost control, financial management, change management, and benefits management independently in complex situations across P3M:
- Develop and implement project baseline budgets, including control account plans/responsibility assignment matrices and WBS dictionaries.
- Monitor, control, and validate project accruals and commitments, and control resource and financial forecast data.
- Manage and control cost risk budgets and drawdowns, and input into risk management processes.

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in complex situations.
