Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity at Red Bull Racing & Technology

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Red Bull Racing & Technology. As a key member of our electrical design team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering complex electrical engineering projects across various exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project scopes defining component selection, costs, and timings using a balance of innovative and proven approaches.
  • Create and maintain project and system requirements, specifications, and RASIC documents.
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Powertrain, and Chassis groups to ensure distributed systems and system integration requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist with systems design, engineering effective systems to fulfill a wide range of functionality requirements across various projects.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level in Engineering, ideally within an electrical discipline.
  • Proven experience in high-end motorsport/F1, aeronautical electrical design.
  • Proven experience gathering and understanding project requirements, creating requirements and specification documents, and generating engineering reports.
  • Ability to create and maintain project plans using MS Project.
  • Experience performing FMEA analysis, verification of designs to legislative requirements, and performing validation through simulation and testing.
