Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our expanding team at the University of Oxford. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our research.

About the Role

This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) fixed-term position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. You will work closely with our QA Manager to provide local advice, training, and support for researchers and trial managers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhancing local Standard Operating Procedures
  • Sharing best practice and identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Providing local advice and support for researchers and trial managers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work well as a member of a team. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working in a similar role and having an understanding of Good Clinical Practice and the regulations and guidelines applicable to clinical trials and the Human Tissue Act in the UK would be desirable but not essential.
