Role Overview
As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for fostering security compliance relationships with governmental and industry entities, ensuring a robust interface with clients and auditors while collaborating with security specialists.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cultivating and maintaining security compliance partnerships with national authorities and industry organizations, while engaging with customers and auditors alongside security experts.
2. Mentoring and guiding Security Assurance Analysts within the team, providing constructive and transparent feedback through effective leadership.
3. Upholding the utmost awareness of the necessity to protect sensitive customer data, ensuring that clients view BT as a reliable and trustworthy organization.
4. Demonstrating a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of Information Assurance, including the application of frameworks such as CISMP, ISO 27001, PCI, and contractual obligations.
5. Leading all ITIL processes and acting as a decision-maker within a defined scope, ensuring that mitigation controls and incident responses are executed professionally and in alignment with relevant service level agreements.
Essential Qualifications
Proficiency in Information Security Strategy, Information Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Security Assessment, and Security Evaluation and Functionality Testing.
Preferred Experience
1. Extensive experience in an IT role that supports security requirements and accreditation processes.
2. Prior experience in a role focused on IT Security.
3. Ideally, possession of at least one recognized certification with current memberships, such as OSCP, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or Lead Auditor ISO 27001.
4. Experience in supporting ISO, PCI, or HMG frameworks is highly desirable.
5. Candidates must hold Government Security Clearance to SC level, which necessitates residency in the UK for a minimum of five years.
