Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading project delivery, managing costs, and interacting with clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery: Take charge of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Cost Management: Provide expert cost management services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while managing costs effectively across all project stages.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring we exceed their expectations.
  • Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across our Liverpool and Manchester offices, contributing to the collective success of our team.

Requirements

  • Proven Expertise: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a successful track record of managing projects, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various sectors within Real Estate, such as museums, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, and more, with experience in different procurement routes and contract forms.
  • Leadership Skills: A collaborative spirit with the ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with working towards membership in a relevant professional body (such as RICS or equivalent), is highly desirable.
