Your Role:

As a Cyber Security Operations Manager, you will oversee the cyber security framework, ensuring the protection of data and systems by managing vulnerabilities, risks, and the broader threat landscape.

In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement risk mitigation strategies derived from various sources, including audit feedback, governance, technical assessments, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and PCI-DSS.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to strategic security initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve shared objectives while prioritizing company goals.
  • Establish and enhance corporate governance frameworks within business processes.
  • Work alongside multiple third-party partners to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities and system updates.
  • Support incident management and resolution for significant cyber incidents on a 24/7 basis.
  • Manage cyber security awareness programs to identify suitable training and phishing simulations.
  • Utilize Jira for task prioritization, management, and progress tracking.
  • Conduct audits of system users and hardware assets, automating processes where feasible.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to quickly understand technical controls and processes for customer security assessments.
  • Proficient in developing and presenting security KPI reports.
  • Capable of creating ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Solid understanding of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and PCI-DSS requirements, including third-party testing and audit management.
  • Technical proficiency in vulnerability management tools, including Qualys, for reporting and managing vulnerabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security, particularly in Azure, as well as Microsoft identity and authentication processes.
