Key Responsibilities:



Conducting simulations and structural assessments under dynamic loading conditions
Offering structural design insights during design evaluations related to naval shock scenarios
Adhering to internal protocols and generating documentation to demonstrate compliance through detailed calculations and reports
Assisting in the swift resolution of issues arising throughout the product lifecycle, including production challenges
Engaging in technical development and research initiatives, collaborating with industry partners and external stakeholders as needed
Contributing to the enhancement of proprietary simulation tools

Required Qualifications:


Essential Skills



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field
Comprehension of structural mechanics and dynamic principles
Familiarity with material strength characteristics (both elastic and plastic)

Preferred Skills



Proficiency in MatLab and Python
Experience with Finite Element Analysis software or a willingness to acquire this knowledge
Understanding of Fluid Structure Interaction concepts

About the Dynamics Team:


The Dynamics Team is tasked with ensuring the operational integrity of vessel systems following exposure to shock loading from Naval Underwater Explosion Events (UNDEX). You will receive extensive support to expand your expertise in critical areas relevant to the Dynamics Team.
