Senior Accounts Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Clerk to join our team at PEXA Group in Hove. As a Senior Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, sales ledger, VAT returns, month-end and year-end accounts, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and credit notes
  • Process sales ledger transactions, including sales invoices and credit notes
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Manage the payroll process, including processing salaries and wages
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounts preparation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an accounts office, preferably in a law firm
  • Strong understanding of current Solicitors Accounting Rules
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
