Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Darlington. As a key member of our engineering design and contracting team, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams in delivering complex projects within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee engineering resources and guide project teams to deliver designs, technical drawings, and solutions in accordance with project specifications.
- Track project performance, budgets, and timelines, and implement strategies to minimize risks.
- Lead the resolution of multi-disciplinary technical challenges and ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
- Coordinate client interfaces and manage subcontractor scope, including costs.
- Prepare project documentation, such as execution plans and quality reports, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Provide technical support and monitor health, safety, and quality procedures across all engineering activities.
- Ensure effective project communication, following proper channels and maintaining up-to-date records.
- A degree/HND in an engineering discipline.
- Significant experience as a Project Engineer in engineering design or contracting environments.
- Strong understanding of codes and standards in the international oil and gas and petrochemical sectors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills, with a strong commercial and risk awareness.
