Binnies, a member of the RSK Group, is in search of a SHEA Specialist to become part of our @one Alliance.
Your Role as a SHEA Specialist:
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering cooperation and dialogue among subcontractors, internal teams, and suppliers concerning Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Quality, and Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with suppliers, perform site assessments, and represent the Alliances in Tier 2 discussions.
- Participate in performance evaluations alongside Category Managers.
- Encourage teamwork with internal departments to improve supplier audits and support auditing efforts.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement methodologies and communication platforms is essential for your success.
- Guarantee the smooth incorporation of HSW considerations into procurement practices.
- Conduct site visits during the supplier selection phase to evaluate SHEA compliance.
- Present the SHEA segment during onboarding sessions for new Framework suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you should possess a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, hold Technical grade membership of IOSH, and have prior experience in the construction or utilities sector. Strong communication, presentation, and report writing abilities are vital, along with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at various levels. A valid UK driving license is necessary for site visits.
