Physiotherapist - Community Health Specialist

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of Home 1st Therapists, ensuring excellent standards of care and effective team performance.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary assessments to prevent avoidable hospital admissions and readmissions across various settings.
- Conduct advanced therapy assessments and deliver treatment to service users, using analytical and judgement skills to address therapy-related issues.
- Provide expert clinical advice and support for complex hospital discharges, ensuring safe and competent use of equipment.
- Develop and amend team policies that impact the multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with NICE guidance.
- Support the therapy team in daily management tasks, including recruitment, appraisals, and performance management.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with Milton Keynes University Hospital Foundation Trust (MKUHFT) and Milton Keynes Council (MKC) to improve services and achieve organisational objectives.
- Lead on CQC activities in partnership with the team, ensuring compliance with NICE guidance.
- Understand and implement clinical and HR policies and procedures within CNWL.
- Coordinate duty rotas, annual leave, and training schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Adhere to and enforce all agreed policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Recent UK experience within community physiotherapy.
- Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK.
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential.
