Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join their team in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary consultancy that operates throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on planning matters to clients, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies.
- Prepare and submit planning applications, utilizing strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Optimize new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives, driving growth and revenue for the company.
- Stay up-to-date with local and national planning policy changes, applying this knowledge to inform planning decisions.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Support the Associate Directors and Directors in driving business strategy and growth.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience post-qualification in the private or public sector, with a strong track record of delivering planning projects.
- Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A full driving license and access to a car, with the ability to travel to client sites and meetings.
