Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced HGV driver to join our team at the Leicester depot. As a rear steer refuse truck operator, you will be responsible for collecting general household waste, recycling, and garden waste from planned routes daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving the HGV 2 rear steer refuse truck vehicle to planned routes daily
• Working with a team of loaders to collect waste and recyclables
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements:

• HGV Class 2 licence
• Digi Card and CPC Card
• Previous rear steer/refuse truck driving experience
• Good knowledge of the local area

Working Conditions:

• Monday to Friday working days
• Start times from 06:00
• Paid a minimum of 7 hours per shift

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: £13.96
