About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Handler to join our team at Brown & Brown. As a Senior Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across the Commercial and Corporate Insurance market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with renewals, new business quotations, and managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proactively develop a pipeline of referrals from existing clients to obtain new business
  • Work with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover
  • Liaise with senior brokers, account executives, and management teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and within prescribed timescales
  • Actively negotiate with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms
  • Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases
  • Ensure Retention levels and income targets are achieved
  • Work with the management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues

About You

We are looking for someone with a solid grounding across the range of Commercial and Corporate Insurance market and who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have exposure to dealing with clients at all levels and product lines from £2,000 to £500,000. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel, and wider broking platforms. You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels and have a wider skill set that includes strong communication, negotiation, sales, and IT skills. Ideally, you will be qualified to Cert CII Level.
