About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at DHL Germany. As a key member of our software development life-cycle, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving software quality through QA testing and promoting a total quality approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and administer IT Systems testing plans and processes to ensure information systems products and services meet desired standards and end-user requirements.
  2. Implement automated regression tests to improve test coverage and suggest future quality improvements in line with business strategy and objectives.
  3. Produce test scripts, materials, and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
  4. Analyse, execute, and document test scripts using agreed methods, standards, and guidelines.
  5. Study actions and results, suggest action on defects and record defects.
  6. Update and share reports on testing progress, anomalies, risks, and issues.
  7. Prepare reports on system quality and metrics on test cases.
  8. Study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for IT Systems testing focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  9. Ensure the software being tested functions according to the user requirements and company quality standards.
  10. Ensure a good level of teamwork, highlighting issues in good time and proactively suggesting solutions to resolve problems.
  11. Participate where required in the instruction of users on how to use the software / application development.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum ISTQB foundation Testing Certification.
  2. A minimum of 4 years of practical testing experience.
  3. Desirable - BSc Hons in Computer Science or Software Engineering Discipline.
  4. Experience building API automated tests using Postman.
  5. Experience in basic SQL queries and backend testing.
  6. Experience in Salesforce technology would be advantageous.
