Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Merchandiser to enhance the merchandising operations at Boohoo. In this pivotal role, you will oversee your team to maximize sales and ensure the profitability of all brand segments. Collaborating closely with the Head of Merchandising, you will develop a robust strategy to drive brand performance and optimize trading across various categories.

Your Team

Our Merchandising department manages a vast array of over 30,000 styles available online, placing us in a significant position within the market. We are data-driven, trend-focused, and committed to maintaining our status as a global leader in fashion. Our innovative approach includes a test and repeat model, ensuring that we have the right inventory available at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate budget plans by category, including option counts and purchase depth, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Merchandising to devise a clear brand strategy, optimizing trading for maximum profitability.
  • Manage stock levels for the brand and by category, utilizing weekly sales and stock intake reports.
  • Analyze sales performance to identify best and worst sellers, providing actionable insights.
  • Propose promotional strategies and reorders as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain buying margins and gross profit margins as required.
  • Provide the Merchandising Director and buying team with essential data for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee daily brand operations, including team management, conducting one-on-one meetings, and facilitating team development and training.
