Role Overview: As a Catering Team Member at St Gregory's Primary School, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality, healthy meals for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the dining area for service, including arranging furniture and cleaning up afterward.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and dining areas.
What We Are Looking For:
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Capability to perform under pressure and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in catering and food preparation is preferred.
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday, during term time only, with a total of 7.5 hours per week, typically 1.5 hours per day. Note that hours may vary based on meal uptake.
This is a part-time position, and the salary mentioned is based on full-time equivalency; actual pay will be adjusted accordingly.
Important Information: This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
