About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Therapy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our complex therapies nursing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals for the complex therapies nursing teams, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Maintain oversight of all nurse-led clinics, including coordinating bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations as needed.
  • Ensure accurate patient RTT statuses at every stage of their pathway.
  • Provide administrative support, including typing clinic and ad hoc letters within the Trust target of 5 working days from date of dictation.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the office, providing cover for colleagues during times of leave or absence, and reporting IT issues or building faults as necessary.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE English standard or equivalent.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection.
  • Experience of working as part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant hospital systems (Careflow, ICE, EDMS).
  • Experience of working in the NHS or similar organization.
