About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Professional to join our team at Academics. As an Aspiring Youth Worker - Restorative Practice Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting positive relationships and behavior.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist students in developing key and personal/functional skills, including social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
  • Participate in MAPA and ABA Training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting restorative practices and positive reinforcement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
